the b family

I loved this session with the B family. We had the perfect fall evening walking around in a field before heading to the park.

Azi and Rue were quite fascinated by the leftover corn and soybeans they found in the field. I'm pretty sure Azi went home with pockets filled with soybeans [and by pretty sure I mean 100% certain - I have photographic evidence that's where they were going].

The boys also had fun wrestling each other and running around before the sun started to set.

I'm glad we had a great night for pictures and of course, I was glad to see this family again!

the w family

After the morning session with a boy and his three dogs, I met up with the W family. I had been around all these kids earlier in the year at a few birthday parties so they weren't too shy around me.

The youngest, Brynleigh, hung out quietly while her brothers and sister ran around. I love capturing kids being kids so I'm glad they did their thing while I snapped some pictures. Owen and Oliver found some great sticks and for a little while were using them as bats to hit the tiny bouncy ball that Briar had brought with her.

We then got some family pictures right before throwing the kids on a pile while they all laughed hysterically - which was quite contagious I might add.

As the session was ending, Briar suddenly remembered she forgot to put on her cross earrings and asked for one more picture to show them off.

It was a great way to end the weekend with these adorable kids!

twins o + k

I met these two handsome twins, Owen + Kellen, last summer. They were full of energy which made our session a lot of fun.

They ran around the park finding the biggest branches they could, pointing out bridges and chasing ducks. Their dad arrived about a half hour after they did, and as their mom predicted, these two couldn't contain their excitement to see him.

I'm sure they would have stayed at the park all night, but before we knew it, the sun was setting and it was time to go home. Spending time with this lovely family was a great way to end the day.

another S family

Yes, I know my last post was about the S family, but this is a different family, so don't go anywhere!

Newborn Alex was a joy. Look at that adorable guy! He wore his fanciest tie to meet me.

His sister Eliana was wonderful too. She was eager to wear her princess dress and was super excited to show me her room.

We probably picked the windiest day of the summer - as you can see from some of the pictures. I would have liked it for the wind to take it down a notch, but at the same time it was so hot that the wind felt good.

Anyway, enough weather talk. Take a look at this great family, especially my favorites of Eliana holding her new baby brother.
