Back in May, I was fortunate to be able to photograph Ben and Amber's wedding. This was my first wedding shooting alone [only second wedding in total]. To say I was a bit nervous, is probably an understatement, however, this couple was so relaxed they made the day easy and fun.
Everything was held at Milford Hills Hunt Club. The place and scenery were beautiful and the couple couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
Before I get ahead of myself though - the day started out with the girls at the salon and the boys on the shooting range. It was fun to be able to capture both activities - however being around the shooting was a little scary since I've never been on a shooting range before.
Amber had talked to me about taking some pictures of her and Ben before the ceremony - without them seeing each other. I'm so glad I got to photograph the interaction of these two as they each stood on either side of a door. They held hands and told each other how excited they were to see each other. You could tell how excited they were to become husband and wife. These pictures are definitely some of my favorites from the day.
The ceremony was short and sweet, filled with wonderful vows the couple read to each other. The reception was filled with dancing and laughter.
Thanks again Ben and Amber for letting me capture your day. You two are fantastic and I wish you the best!
